This exuberant painting – Summer’s Full On – is a reflection of the most beautiful days during a Dutch summer. A lukewarm breeze softly touches your skin, while you oversee waving grass and hear the rustling of the bushes. Delicious scented flowers such as Honeysuckle, really fit in summer. You smell this plant often before you can see it, and sometimes you have to really search for them in the borders along the roads. The Honeysuckle flowers in this painting have already been transferred to berries, because on this canvas it is already August. The Hortensia, however, still go for it. These are the summers that we long for.
The painting Summer’s Full On is an original artwork. The artwork is painted with high quality Amsterdam Acrylic paint. The canvas (80 x 80 x 1.6 cm / 31.5 x 31.5 x 0.6 inches) consists of primed linen that is stretched on a firm frame. Both the front and back of the painting are coated with a silk varnish that keeps the colors radiant for even longer. We also supply wedges with which you can tighten the fabric, if that would be necessary. The back of the canvas is equipped with a sturdy horizontally stretched steel wire to which you can hang the artwork in your favorite spot immediately.
